THE FIELD OF OFFSETS 01

Media Art
Interactive Installation
Concept
This is an interactive video installation using Raspberry Pi and cameras. On each display, “past” footage is played—images from a few seconds ago, a few minutes ago, or from moments when someone else was present in the space. These images are reconstructed through time delays and layered frames, and are presented as a non-linear flow of time.
I aim to transform the act of “seeing” from something confined to the “now” into a dialogue with memory, with others, and with the past. Each screen is a hole left behind by past memories, and when a viewer approaches, it begins to speak, telling the stories of others.

About  Works

Exploring ideas and images that can exist only within media art. By assigning improper functions, dismantling original significations, and blending form with content, my work exposes the symbolic systems in which we operate.
