Graphical Interaction
Installation
This project explores the sensory noise and information overload of contemporary life through the lens of entropy (disorder) and negentropy (order). Inspired by cognitive psychology, sound masking therapy for tinnitus, and circular structures found in nature and mandalas, it visualizes how chaotic information affects the human mind and body.
The work includes installations and animations that convert noise into structured forms. Examples include a film where artificial noise-producing objects disappear into nature through programmed interaction, and an experimental device that translates bird songs into circular graphics recorded on glass slides.
By layering visual frequencies and simulating the compression of auditory disorder into harmony, the project examines how sensory balance and mental healing might be reimagined through media art.
