Graphic Design
This project is a visual design critique addressing the cruelty of animal testing in the cosmetics industry. Unlike experiments essential to human survival, cosmetic testing is conducted for non-essential products, often causing severe suffering to animals. Moreover, due to fundamental biological differences, results from animal tests are frequently unreliable for human use.
Referencing the widely used "Draize test," this work visualizes the core ethical concerns by developing a set of visual elements and a symbolic logo. These were further applied to cosmetic packaging design, encouraging viewers to reconsider the hidden violence behind everyday beauty products.
